My children. I love them ever so much and as I began the challenge of homeschooling two years ago, I wasn't completely sure that I was making the right choice. Even now there are days I am ready to throw in the towel, give up and march them off to the closest elementary school in town. But then I look at their eyes as they are learning something for the first time, and I realize I might have missed this. Some teacher I barely know could be the one who is seeing the light of learning in my children's eyes. Some other place could be watching them play, read, fight, laugh and cry all day long, but I get to experience all this. All their firsts will be mine to cherish. So onward Christian Homeschoolers. Here goes the year 2012.
